The Rustic Door Decor & More is owned by a mother and daughter team, Carmen Hutchison and Linda Dorremocea. Their signature style is modern farmhouse, rustic, and French country. Their small business was started in 2016 by painting furniture, building blanket ladders, and making home decor in their garage in their home in Fishhawk. Soon, their demand for refinishing furniture (and garage space!) increased. They rented space in existing shops, did vintage festivals in Tampa Bay, and had a dream to open their open store. Eventually, they opened their first storefront location in Brandon in 2018 carrying refinished and custom built furniture, home decor, apparel, soy candles, jewelry, wreaths, and locally made wood signs. The Rustic Door carries locally made products and well-known product lines such as MudPie, Anna Clayton Jewelry, Erimish, Blood Brothers Bloody Mary mix, Bee-Haven Raw Honey, and locally made greeting cards.

Their vision is to create warm, cozy spaces in your home. They love to engage with customers and have been blessed with loyal customers over the past four years. The Rustic Door loves to partner with other local businesses, including other vintage shops, interior decorators, and artists. Stay tuned for markets and festivals at the new Brandon location on the 4th Sunday and at Valrico location every 2nd Sunday Oct-April with local produce and vendors! The Rustic Door is a Premier Retailer since 2016 for Dixie Belle chalk paint where they carry the entire line. They have one of the largest selections in Tampa Bay. The Rustic Door is also this area's only Wise Owl Paint Retailer. Check out their "DIY area" with everything you need for projects including vintage knobs, transfers, and unique pieces.
