Melissa Gallway is a Florida native, she graduated from Bloomingdale High School and continued her education locally at Saint Petersburg College graduating with a BAS in Information Technology Management. Melissa and her husband Michael share 2 beautiful daughters together. She is the owner of Excellence First Insurance Specialist, a local independent insurance agency located at the Cowork Landing off Oakfield Rd. near Brandon Hospital. Melissa has been an active advocate for the community volunteering countless hours for youth sports programs, Hillsborough County Schools, and other local chambers. She is a current member of the Greater Tampa Realtor Association, Center of Influence for Entrepreneurs, Trusted Choice Insurance Carriers, SIAA, Hispanic Networking Groups and partakes in other local charities. 

Gilmore started the newspaper as a one-page newsletter in FishHawk 17 years ago and it has grown to four editions with a circulation of more than 80,000 copies, along with a Website www.ospreyobserver.com. Quesada says, “I couldn’t be prouder of our staff that has always gone the extra mile to make this newspaper a success.” Colesanti has been with Gilmore since the beginning and says “Marie has an energy to make things happen; to put forth an idea and we have a great team to put it into action.” Colesanti also says “The Osprey Observer doesn’t just print community events, we as a team get involved in them, whether it is cleaning the highways or participating in fundraisers.”
