Turning over 10 years of career/training development experience and human resources passion into an opportunity, Latoya Cave embarked on the goal of launching today’s job seekers to new heights. These words have been the foundation and motto of her now thriving career consultancy 1ST Leap Workforce Consulting, located in Riverview, Florida. Having transitioned out of the U.S. Navy after 12 years of dedicated service, she was quickly met with common job search struggles, disappointments, and frustrations job seekers are faced with daily. This first hand glance motivated her journey of providing job seekers with a renewed vision and outlook on today’s job market. Understanding that a job seekers resume is the first introduction to prospective employers, Latoya spent years perfecting her professional resume writing skills and becoming a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches (PARWCC). Her hard work and dedication better assisted clients on how to build solid career development strategies, tools, and insight that is needed towards accomplishing a promising career and overall job stability. Today 1ST Leap Workforce Consulting provides both local one on one and virtual resume and career consulting services to clients spanning all 50 states and Canada. Latoya is an active member of The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Workforce Education and Development. She has earned her Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from St. Leo University and is also pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from St. Leo University. Latoya is originally from Beaufort, South Carolina but resides in Riverview, Florida.
